Yanouzas Family Adventures: Back to Athens

Naxos

Hi Everyone-
We enjoyed the red-eye from Kennedy Monday afternoon , flying directly into Athens after a ten hour flight. From there, we went to the apartment, crashed for a couple of hours and then caught a high speed ferry to Naxos, one of the cyclades islands. What a beautiful place to visit! Our accomodations here is actually a two bedroom apartment that has a spectacular mountain view. We spent most of our days scouting out the best beach and our nights- the best food!!
Tomorrow we take another ferry to Andros. We will stay there until Monday when we return to Athens. We are looking forward to the new Archeological Museum at the base of the Acropolis. Until then....

Back to Athens

After five beautiful days in Naxos, we took three different boats to the island of Andros. We zigged from Naxos to Paros, then onto Mykonos. From Mykonos we zagged to Tinos and then onto Andros. We enjoyed two days in Andros. The only disappointment came with the realization that the crops that wetypically enjoyed in August were not ready yet in July. No juicy figs to fall off the branch into our hands, no grapes to pluck off the vine for our morning breakfast. But the weather was gorgeous and we chilled at the beach. the torquoise waters were never more beautiful.
